Rendezvous has easy access to the full array of recreational
offerings in Grand County. But, you can also experience a truly
year-round mountain lifestyle without even leaving the community!
The community has been thoughtfully designed for your comfort,
peace of mind, and recreation.
Rendezvous has these amenities to enjoy:
Rendezvous Ski Shuttle
The Private Rendezvous Ski Shuttle picks up residents from several
convenient pick up points throughout the community and drops
residents off at Club Rendezvous, at the base of Winter
Park Ski Resort. The shuttle makes getting to the mountain easy and
hassle free. The shuttle is operated by Valley Taxi.
Significant Preserves of Open Space
Rendezvous provides room within the community for you to stroll,
picnic, or just enjoy the quiet.
Extensive Trail System
Rendezvous has winding, scenic, and maintained trails for you to
hike, bike and cross-country ski. Click to download the trail map.
Fraser River and Mary's Pond
Mary's Pond is a private community pond for you to walk or bike
around, fish in, and savor the mountain reflections. And, the
Fraser River winds its way right through Rendezvous-reducing your
travel time to fabulous fishing, kayaking, and canoeing.
Completely Paved and Plowed Streets
At Rendezvous, you don't have to worry about community
accessibility for you or your guests. The streets are paved and
plowed of snow for drivability.
Internet Access
Rendezvous is built to be a relaxing getaway-but you can still
access the Web here anytime through our quick connection to
resources you need.
Community Events
The Rendezvous staff hosts several events year-round to introduce
residents to each other and enjoy the Rendezvous landscape and
views. Please visit the site again to see details and dates of
upcoming events in 2007. In the past we have hosted such events as
the 2006 Rocky Mountain Plein Air Artists, registration for the
Grand County Parade of Homes, fishing derbies, carnivals, and wagon
rides.
Homeowners Association
From the time its first master-planned community was established in
1958, Koelbel and Company has expressed a deep concern for
enhancing the value of its properties on behalf of its homeowners.
Over that span, particular attention has been allotted to the
design of homeowners associations that function to protect and
enhance community standards. At Rendezvous, Koelbel has created a
state-of-the-art entity that is structured to complement the
extraordinary quality of the neighborhood infrastructure and
amenities. As in other Koelbel communities, residents at Rendezvous
can take pride in their HOA as a corporation that will function to
retain the character of the streetscape, parks, trails and
community maintenance services that set this community apart from
other mountain developments.
