Your “To Be” List
Did you make your “To Do” List today? If you’re like most people, you have.
But what about your “To Be” List?
That’s right—You see, it’s a fact—most of us are great doers….and lousy “Be-ers.”
That’s because today, human beings are busy, REAL busy; working that To Do list, getting things done—right? And sure, at the end of the day, it’s a great feeling of accomplishment.
But, have you ever stopped to think about you, the Human-BEING?
Yes, you heard me…think about it for a moment. We are all Human Beings…not, Human Doings.
And allowing time each day to simply BE—Be still, be quiet, be tranquil, will reduce stress and induce calmness and creativity in our daily life.
So today and everyday, put your self at the top of that list…and take some time to just….BE!
Here’s a relaxing exercise you can do outdoors on the beach, on the trail or in your backyard:
Clench your fists tightly while your take a deep diaphragmatic breath, and hold it for a count of ten. Exhale thoroughly and completely, as you let your body go limp. Repeat 3 to 5 times.
